Born in 1966 in Stuttgart, Germany, he joined the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in 1995. Since then he has worked as project manager on a variety of projects including the reconstruction of the Potsdamer Platz area in Berlin, the extension of the Beyeler Museum in Riehen, Switzerland, the construction of the New York Times Building in New York, the development of the P&C department store in Cologne, Germany, and the Novartis high rise project in Basel, Switzerland.

He became an associate in 2000.

Since 2010 he was in charge of the winning competition of the opera house in Hanoi, Vietnam, the  design and construction of the KT headquarters in Seoul, South Korea and recently the design of the land reclamation residential project ‘L’Anse du Portier’ in Monaco, Monaco.

In 2014 he became a LEED accredited professional with building design + construction specialty.
