In 2006, more than 54,000 trade visitors from just under 90 countries attended the top trade fair for the glass industry in Düsseldorf. The proportion of decision-making executives attending remained high at 70 percent. Overall, 98 percent of the visitors were satisfi ed with what glasstec 2006 had to offer. Of the 1,300 exhibitors, 60 percent indicated that they had established new business connections and that the fair had been a commercial success for their company.
