Krones introduces sustainable brand

German supplier Krones has launched a programme for sustainability, in the form of its ‘enviro’ brand. The company claims that with enviro, its economic, ecological and social efforts have become visibly tangible, enabling its customers to save on energy and water consumption.
Krones recognises that the food and beverage industries in particular have made sustainability an integral constituent of their brands and that consumers are opting for brands on the basis of ecological criteria. For this reason, the company is making it possible for the proprietors of Krones machines and lines to highlight their eco-credentials with the enviro signet.
