„Innovation Award Architecture and Glas” by AIT magazine

For the second time the architectural journals AIT and XIA intelligente architektur have initiated in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf during the glasstec 2008 the Innovation Award Architecture and Glass.

The architectural and design competition was initiated with the intention of awarding a prize to those products which to some special degree meet the requirements of architects, thereby making a selection from the numerous glass solutions on the market. Important criteria for judgement are functional and design quality, material authenticity and variety of possible uses.

The response to the innovation award is very good and came from various industries. A jury of five renowned architects and planers will decide upon the winners and special mentions on Octobre 21th 2008.

The presentation of awards will take place on Wendsday, Octobre 21th 2008, at 17.00 p.m. on the Stand of the trade fair glasstec 2008. Visitors are cordially invited.

All participating products will be presented in a special exhibition at the glasstec 2008 on our stand during the complete duration of the fair. Additionally all participants will be published in a special publication of the AIT and XIA intelligente architektur journals.

Besides the AIT Innovation Award Architecture and Flooring the journals AIT and xia IntelligenteArchitektur have initiated Innovation competitions for the lighting-, office furniture-, sanitation system-, home textile- and presentation-industry as well as the building and construction- and the healthcare industry – on the respective trade fairs Light & Building in Frankfurt, Orgatec in Cologne, ISH in Frankfurt, Heimtextil in Frankfurt, DEUBAU in Essen, EuroShop in Düsseldorf , Bau in München, Altenpflege+ProPflege in Nürnberg.
