Innovation and Integration are the themes for Glaston Bavelloni brand at Glasstec 2008

Through its brand Bavelloni, Glaston plans to unveil a raft of new products and concepts at the glass industry’s major exhibition, Glasstec 2008. As part of a rapidly growing international glass technology company, Bavelloni will be demonstrating innovative products aimed at the growing architectural markets and the emerging solar energy business.
This will be coupled to the Bavelloni’s increasing capabilities in integrating its production equipment to offer high levels of automation and control. The acquisition of leading software specialist to the glass processing industry, Albat+Wirsam, further enhances Bavelloni’s capabilities in regards to machine integration, particularly with business software solutions. It also supports the group’s One-Stop-Partner concept that enables customers to purchase all their glass processing equipment, solution and services from one place, from one supplier.
New products across the Bavelloni’s range in cutting, edging and grinding technology plus innovative processing concepts in double edging, CNC machines and new low E processing will be on display at Glasstec 2008. For the first time, Bavelloni machines working together with Albat+Wirsam software will be revealed. Plus there is the new stand concept using a stunning virtual factory presentation that is sure to catch the attention of visitors to the show.
Architectural and furniture glass in focus
Through its Bavelloni brand, Glaston will be highlighting its latest innovations in pre-processing technology particularly for the extremely demanding areas in architectural and furniture glass manufacturing. Bavelloni has created new solutions within grinding and cutting technology to offer increased productivity and flexibility for manufacturers in these markets.
Of course, Bavelloni’s traditional markets will continue to be supported in addition to these new markets. Advice will be available on the best investment choices for areas such as edging and bevelling machines and tools at the exhibition.
Solar Vision
Another focus for Glaston will be to demonstrate the company’s growing expertise in developing processing solutions for the solar energy market. Bavelloni equipment can already meet the pre-processing needs of this area.
