Laminated safety glass (LSG) is one of the products which made the major success of glass in architecture possible. The capacity, the residual standing properties and the efficiency of the solid splinter-binding make LSG the product of choice if glass is needed in safety-relevant areas such as overhead glazing, balustrades, etc. While retaining the maximum level of transparency, laminated safety glass can be flexibly adapted to the specified requirements through the number of laminated panes or the number and thickness of laminated foils and thus offers maximum safety. The versatile usage options of laminated safety glass in glass architecture and the ever-growing demand require efficient and ultra-precise production plants from the manufacturers. Even the smallest deviations in the primary product can make the end product unusable.
