Crafts center in hall 9
Innovations in the application of glass, new profitable business areas and specific expert knowledge at first hand - the crafts center in hall 9 will show all the latest trends and present new perspectives. Focal topics are new techniques in the field of advanced glass products and their application: from interiors and interior design to energy saving with glass, e. g. in the manufacture of façades and windows.
Highlights
The presentation of the Glazier Awards and the glassprocessing prize for outstanding work in the glass industry. A raffle will be held in the afternoon of 25th October in Hall 9 with attractive prizes to be won. The evening will then be rounded off with the big glazier party in the evening!

glass technology live
In the special show glass technology live companies are showing future-orientated product solutions for glass facades as mock-ups special show.
The emphasis of the special event will be Pioneering façade construction, the latest solar products and photovoltaic applications, innovative glass products, such as curved glass, glass products for interiors and interior design, current inspiration from research and development, design and aesthetics in a new dimension. Autoglass Arena + Plenum
The “Autoglass Arena” in Hall 10, in co-operation with the Federal Association of Glazier Trades (BIV), will present a greater variety than ever before: the latest trends in vehicle glazing, topics such as “smart repair”, and the autoglass plenum will off er unsurpassed expertise.
The auto glaziers' plenary will cover four themes: Tue: autoglass industry day Wed: Insurance business day Thus: Fleet management / Autoglass industry day Fri: Smart Repair The high point will be the International Master Fitter Competition 2012. Representatives of the German automotive glass replacement and repair society will give a national dimension to The International Master Fitter Competition 2010.
