Glass as a raw material has been in use for over five thousand years. Craftsman processing glass over the years have cultivated a reputation for precision which established their status as true masters of the trade. Many times they mastered almost impossible challenges, ranging from the most delicate of drinking vessels to a bridge made exclusively from glass without any steel nor wire – a bridge resilient to the extreme.
