On July 1, 2014, the glass division of the Aachener Chemische Werke GmbH (ACW) has been integrated into the Chemetall GmbH, the former parent company and is now marketed under the new company name worldwide. With more than 50 years of experience in the glass market, the leading global manufacturers of auxiliary chemical materials for the glass producing and processing industries can now profit from the strong globally operating Chemetall organization.
The portfolio for the glass industry comprises special chemicals, for example cutting fluids, coolants, interleaving powders, detergents, polishing compounds and corrosion protection agents. In close cooperation with customers the glass division team develops optimum solutions for individual applications in the glass producing and treatment processes. The flat glass and optical glass industries benefit from the comprehensive and long-term expertise, especially for cutting, separating and grinding applications.
