The uncovered section is manufactured using particularly sturdy section bars suited to the load. This section contains: • The belt drive system with gear-box, the power transmission chain and various rollers to drive and to deviate the belt. • The system to recover belt elongation and keep it constantly tensioned. • The belttrackingsystem. • Spaces designed and equipped to introduce various types of cold-end coating systems, such as vaporizing hood, top-spray, back-up spray, bottom spray, etc. • Space for auxiliary cooling bridges. • Space for the belt cleaning system (motorized brush).
The entire section is designed and guaranteed to avoid belt slipping, in any charge condition.
The charge-end of Antonini Annealing Lehrs is composed of:
• A roller, manufactured using anti-deformation techniques, fitted onto a support system that self-compensates elongation due to the temperature. • An efficacious albeit simple support system that keeps the belt from sagging between the roller and the sliding bed of the first module of Tunnel. • One or more insulated “sandwich” doors, which can be raised manually or by motor, to reduce heat dispersion. Solutions with pneumatic doors, used for hand charge, are also available. • A front hood, which can be provided on request.
Thanks to the technology matured over the years, Antonini annealing lehrs guaranty low consumption levels and maximum efficiency. Furthermore, by using high-quality materials and components, the lehrs ensure a long service life with extremely limited maintenance requirements. An automatic control system guarantees uniform and stable heating temperatures inside the annealing lehr.
The temperature controlled section (Tunnel), is subdivided into a number of modules depending from various factors, such as production, loading system, temperatures, thermal process, etc. The Tunnel is composed of 3 types of modules: heating only, mix (heating and cooling), cooling only. Each of these is, in turn, composed of an internal case (tunnel) made of high-quality steel suited to the use (usually stainless), high-quality rock-wool insulation, an external frame and panels, painted as desired. The external panels may also be made of stainless steel.
In the course of its 50 years story, Antonini Fosco e Figli srl has become a synonym for annealing and decorating lehrs both in Europe and more far flung markets, especially south Asia. Located near Florence, in the heart of Italy, the company has raised from its humble beginnings as a supplier of lehrs to small local and national glassworks to a respected constructor of plants for important groups worldwide. The success grew out of a tradition in which the search for technological improvement is founded on reliability, efficiency and a willness to listen to customer's demands".
