Regulating Oxygen Burner

The Regulating Oxygen Burner – ROX – was developed on basis of the Regulating Gas Burner for regenerative furnaces. The ROx enables the furnace operator to regulate the flame length and width of the flame for a superior melting performance. High degree flame coverage maximises the heat transfer to the glass at lowest NOx levels. This Burner have fully adjustable gas and oxygen nozzles. The gas ratio between the inner and the outer nozzle is adjusted by a control valve inside the burner.

Quadraflo® Burner

The Quadraflo is a Patented Oxygen Burner, developed with a configuration that produces a truly adjustable flame length and luminosity. These burners have a 4:1 turndown. This is without changing the firing rate. Typically the flame length at the nominal rating can be increased by 50%. The Quadraflow Burner has been tested with pre-heated Oxygen at 550°C and 1200°C. The efficiency gains approx. 15%.

The Regulating Oil Burner is ruggedly built to withstand the hot and dirty conditions at melting furnaces. The ROB provides highly luminous and fully adjustable flame with high degree flame coverage maximising the heat transfer to the glass enabling a superior melting performance. The ROB is suitable for all grade of fuel oil and atomising can be done with air, steam or gas.

Furnace Heat-Up

Our special heat-up technology is based on the use of Hotwork International High Velocity Burners operating on an excess air basis, which have been especially developed for the heat up of all types and sizes of glass melting furnaces. The system permits a positive furnace pressure assuring uniform temperatures in the furnace and regenerators. 

The system has been developed to ensure that precise temperature control of hot gas emissions from the burner can be regulated at all stages between 60°C and 1200°C, simultaneously eliminating of hot-spots or stagnant areas within the furnace. The Hotwork International-Technology permits temperature uniformity within a glass melting furnace of ± 3°C.
