Heinrich Degelo was born in 1957 in Giswil OW (Switzerland). He has worked as a self-employed architect in various cooperations since 1986. From 1990 to 2005, he managed the architecture firm “Morger Degelo” together with Meinrad Morger. During this cooperation, the trade fair tower in Basel and the art museum in Vaduz were built, for example. He is currently the Managing Director of “Degelo Architekten” which celebrated its 10-year company anniversary last year.
Since 2015, Florian Walter has been a partner of the architectural firm. Important buildings include the expansion of the congress centre in Davos, finished in 2010, and the university library in Freiburg, completed in 2015. Heinrich Degelo is a member of the central board of directors of the “Bund Schweizer Architekten” [Federation of Swiss Architects].
