Recently, Trina Solar was named as the most bankable PV module manufacturer globally by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF). In the survey ran by BNEF, key PV stakeholders were asked which PV module brands they considered bankable out of a list of 50. Topping the list was Trina Solar, which confirms the Company's leading position in the PV market.
Duo-Max Modules The product highlight at the Trina Solar booth (stand F3) this year includes the Duomax module. This 2.5mm heat-strengthened glass comprises of two layers, built to withstand the harsh African climate. The Duomax module is a highly reliable and durable PV product, offering high levels of resistance to degradation. The Duomax meets the most stringent PID testing conditions of 1500V system voltage under relative humidity of 85% and a temperature of 85°C for 192 hours. Cost-effective, the Duomax modules reduce installation costs as it is not necessary to use system grounding. The frameless Duomax module comes in 60-cell and 72-cell versions and is suitable for both utility scale power plants and Distributed Generation PV systems.

Using the latest virtual reality (VR) technology, Trina Solar will provide partners and customers with a completely new experience taking them on a guided visit through the company's integrated campus as well as its renowned R&D laboratory. VR glasses will transport visitors to the middle of the production facilities where they will get even closer to production than in real life due to strict clean room requirements.
