On 22 October that time will have come: the doors to Düsseldorf’s Exhibition Centre will open for glasstec 2024. We have already prepared some highlights not to be missed for you on Day 1. You are cordially invited to take part in these exciting events and experience innovation live.

CircuClarity One: the future of the glass and façade industry

Hall 11, Stand B28 – Stage 3 glass technology live

Prof. Dr. Linda Hildebrand and Dr. Lisa Rammig

22 and 23 October 2024 will see CircuClarity One open its doors at glasstec. For two days everything will revolve around circularity in the glass and façade industries. The hosts Prof. Dr. Linda Hildebrand and Dr. Lisa Rammig will provide introductions to the sessions, the keynote will come care of James O’Callaghan of Eckersley O’Callaghan at 10.15 am on 22 October. Be sure to attend on Tuesday and Wednesday – well worth it!

Hall 10 Stand C60, C80, C79, A80 – Stage 2 Handwerk LIVE

Glass and skilled crafts? Sure! Kicking off concurrently with glasstec on 22 October will be Handwerk LIVE – the special show allowing you to experience the glazier trade with all your senses. In the national finals of WorldSkills Germany, the spotlight will be on young glaziers who will compete with each other on three days of the trade fair. Each day at 1.00 pm the Skills concept and the work so far will be presented. See for yourself!

Hall 10 Stand A70 – Stage 1 glass trends live

In the “glass trends sessions” held as part of the glasstec conference the industry know-how from theory and practice will be pooled and placed in the context of this year’s three Hot Topics – Decarbonisation, Circular Economy and Digital Technologies. In focus: glass production, glass processing and finishing as well as glass products and applications. See for yourself!

Young, creative and forward-looking enterprises present their innovations – in the Start-Up Zone 2024 – the platform that pools novelties and extends an invitation for you to network. New in 2024: daily Start-Up Sessions at 3.30 pm from 22 to 24 October on Stage 1 in hall 10. Topics include new technologies, market challenges and future opportunities. Make sure you come along!
