This session introduces the activities of the European façade network and the partner universities related to education activities and the development of a digitally controlled future education programme for façades and glass. Also on the last trade fair day plenty of industry know-how will be imparted at the glass trends sessions. The topics of glass production, glass processing and finishing as well as glass products and applications will be addressed and placed in the context of the Hot Topics of glasstec: Decarbonisation, Circular Economy and Digital Technologies. We look forward to having you!

Hall 11 Stand B28 - Stage 3 glass technology live

Birds often do not perceive glass as an obstacle colliding with it at full speed. The solution to this is to make glass visible for birds. Jochen Grönegräs, Managing Director of ”Bundesverbandes Flachglas e.V.” (German Flat Glass Manufacturers’ Association), and Matthias Haller, Technical Service Marketing at Eastman Chemical Company and spokesperson of the working party in the association, introduce various options to achieve this in this session.
