A+W and Smart-Builder Interfacing

Smart-Builder, the world-leader in glass design software, and A+W Software, the global leader in software for glass and windows, are working together for the benefit of their mutual customers.

As part of the agreement, both A+W and Smart-Builder have developed a certified interface that allows a seamless integration from the Smart-Builder configurators into the A+W ERP and production systems, allowing customers to design frameless glass structures (such as showers, shopfronts, balustrades, and splashbacks). Customers can then create a quotation and order based on the detailed design, and real purchasing and manufacturing costs, quoting not only a price, but also a delivery date based on available capacity, logistics and manufacturing constraints. The order is then released for production, optimizing material and production cost. A+W CEO Dr. Uwe Schmid:
