Polypack is pleased to announce a new system that delivers high speed collation of glass/plastic bottles and vials in a nested configuration. The bottles are brought in using an offset/staggered pattern, then automatically arranged into a nested pattern which is defined by the previous rows. A vertical gate separates groups of collated bottles in a pre-determined quantity. A downstream gate then releases the nested bottles and the next group of nested, collated bottles moves into position. The collated bottles are then passed through a forming head to create shrink wrapped bundles with total closure.
Polypack’s total closure shrink wrap system uses centerfolded film to create a completely enclosed bundle with horizontal seals fore and aft, and a lap seal on the bottom of the pack. Unlike side seal machines, there is absolutely no scrap/wasted film with Polypack total closure wrappers.
Polypack’s new patent pending collation system allows for large count multipacking at a very high rate of speed, making it the perfect solution for high output bottle manufacturers.
