Düsseldorf, Germany – October 21, 2014 – Guardian Europe will introduce SunGuard® SuperNeutral 70/35 at Glasstec, the world’s largest glass trade fair, Oct. 21-24 in Dusseldorf. This new double-silver advanced architectural glass has a visible light transmission of 70 percent and g-value of only 0.35. This high selective glass allows lots of light to pass while blocking a vast majority of the solar heat. “
We are very excited to launch this new product for commercial applications developed to maximize protection against solar heat gain and at the same time provide a light transmission of 70 percent,” says Volodymyr Shkurenko, Segment Leader at Guardian Europe. “SunGuard SN 70/35 has a beautiful neutral blue colour, and is the ideal glass for architectural projects designed to allow lots of natural daylight to flow into the building."
Guardian SunGuard SN 70/35 is an ideal glass for architects looking to create buildings filled with daylight with a low solar heat gain. The new coating, applied to Guardian ExtraClear float glass, allows for a very high transparency and colour neutrality while ensuring energy savings and solar protection. SunGuard SN 70/35 minimises the need for artificial lighting and offers excellent solar protection combined with outstanding thermal insulation.
SunGuard SN 70/35 is ideal for fully glazed façades and roof glazing. It is available on laminated and acoustic laminated glass for more security and comfort. The product is available in heat-treatable (HT) and annealed versions with a matching appearance.
SunGuard SuperNeutral 70/35 will be on display at Glasstec. Visit us at Stand F43 in Hall 10, Oct. 21-24 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
