ADVANCING GLASS FURNACE DRAINING EQUIPMENT

Higher extraction rates. Better drying. Improved water management.

Traterme continues to develop its glass furnace draining equipment to improve the speed and control of furnace emptying operations.

Our latest equipment includes an adjustable scraper, capable of extracting up to 20 tonnes of glass per hour. The scraper length and operating speed can be adjusted according to the requirements of each operation, helping to improve cullet drying and reduce processing time.

The system has also been upgraded with new chutes and chillers, designed to improve material handling and temperature control throughout the draining process.

These developments are focused on the aspects that directly affect furnace shutdowns: execution time, water management and operational efficiency.

By continuously developing our equipment around real site requirements, Traterme aims to reduce unnecessary downtime and optimise resource consumption during glass furnace draining.

CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

Our equipment development is ongoing. Digital process monitoring and remote control are part of our next stage of development, to provide real-time parameters.
