Leader in Hot-End Coating solutions presents smaller VC1 Hood and AI for production

Uden, The Netherlands/Dusseldorf, Germany, October 22, 2024 – VarroTec, leader in glass post-treatment

technology presents two world premieres at GlassTec 2024, the world’s leading trade fair for the glass

industry. Based on a growing demand from pharmaceutical and other small container glass manufacturers,

VarroTec has developed a dedicated smaller VC1 Hood to reduce losses during the hot end coating process

step and improve the efficiency and sustainability of the hood. In order to optimize production in the

container glass process at its worldwide customer base, VarroTec also has a first artificial intelligence (AI)

powered system on display to manage real-time production results. To significantly reduce downtime and

loss of revenue, a machine learning and predictive analytics based solution is preventing production

inefficiencies and equipment failures for packaging glass production lines.

Besides the two world premieres at GlassTec, VarroTec also shows with its partner DinterS a Cold-End

Coating Spray Bridge linked to a stand-alone mixing unit for flexible application in a broad range of glass

production lines. The bridge can be implemented with various types of spray guns, including an ultra-slim

version. With these novelties, VarroTec aims to accelerate the execution of its ambition to become the

global leader in glass coating technologies.
