Obeikan Float Glass Co., a subsidiary of the Obeikan Investment Group receives CE Market Certification. All products imported to the European Economic Area (EEA) must comply to the CE marking regulations. CE marking is a mandatory quality and safety conformity mark for products placed on the market in the European Economic Area.

Obeikan Glass Company is the first float glass factory in Saudi Arabia to receive CE Mark certification and is proud of this achievement, further demonstrating their dedication for the production of glass products to the highest manufacturing standard.

Nedal Eshgi, Deputy General Manager of Obeikan Glass Co., received the certification on behalf of the company from Mr Nigel Rees, CEO of the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), the UK based, global glass industry trade association. The certificate of CE Mark conformity, in accordance with EN 572-9, was present to Obeikan during the 2012 inaugural GGF Middle East meeting on the 1st March 2012.

"We are very please to receive this certification within our 1st year of operation, this effort marks yet another milestone for the continual development of the Obeikan Glass Company and demonstrates our efforts to be a world leader in the manufacture of quality float glass products", Nedal Eshgi said.
