Elegance, clear lines and the choice of materials in the Maybach Museum .... in the Rigips Trophy

In Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate, between 1884 and 1959 Express Werke AG manufactured popular bicycles and motorcycles. In the years that followed some of the buildings fell into disrepair, others were demolished.

A few years ago the new owners started with the comprehensive restoration work. Thanks to perfectly-realized dry construction measures by Dörrmann Innenausbau GmbH, rooms were created with a unique character.

In exhibition space of more than 2,500 square metres, the internationally unique exhibition of the life and works of Karl and Wilhelm Maybach is presented - and, of course, their impressive exhibits of German automobile construction. These are really put into the limelight thanks to the preserved and newly-created architecture of the building ensemble and the high-quality interior construction.
