For the report to the process of the DIN EN 50001-certification Verallia Deutschland receives the DIN-Award in the category „Best Practice“.

With the early introduction of the DIN EN ISO 50001 2012 standard, Verallia Deutschland is probably one of the first companies to carry out the certification shortly after the standard was published.

The DIN EN ISO 50001 helps organizations build systems to improve their energy efficiency and their energy-related performance.

In the implementation of the der requirements of the DIN EN ISO 50001 standard it was important for Verallia Deutschland to carry over and improve existing structures, instead of establishing new processes that are poorly anchored. For the successful implementation and integration of the standard into the existing system Verallia Deutschland is being awarded the “Best Practice” DIN award.
