The CEO of Bohle AG, Dr. Heinrich Ostendarp, announced today that he will resign from his position as CEO of Bohle AG with the consent of the Supervisory Board effective 31 March 2015. The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Arne Kloefkorn, will take over his duties as the sole Director until a decision has been made regarding Dr. Ostendarp’s successor.
Dr. Ostendarp was appointed to the Board of Directors of Bohle in 2006. Under his leadership, the company has continuously rebuilt and further developed its structures. For example, Bohle has succeeded in strengthening its position as an international partner to the glass industry. The consequent alignment towards meeting specific customer needs with regard to glass with a unique and in part highly innovative product spectrum and its increasingly international orientation have all been important factors in this respect. The Bohle Group managed to significantly increase its revenue by more than 10% in 2014 compared to 2013. The Supervisory Board of Bohle is greatly satisfied with its current growth trend and the further prospects in the various markets. The challenge is now to market the product line even more successfully on a global basis.
The Supervisory Board would like to thank Dr. Ostendarp for his strong contribution to the company’s successful development over the past 9 years. Dr. Ostendarp will continue to advise the company on further developing new business and products through the end of 2015.
The Bohle Group is comprised of Bohle AG in Haan and 12 international subsidiaries. Founded in 1923, the family business with its 330 employees achieved total sales of around € 50 million in 2014. With products in the areas of glass treatment, fittings, glass cutting, surface treatment / glass bonding, glazing, tools and machines, the company’s full product range is designed to meet the needs of its customers in the areas of crafts, industry and the trade.
