For glass technology live, Bauglasindustrie (BGI) has developed a mobile lectern made from profiled glass elements. The semi-circular podium on castors is clad with Pilkington Profilit™ type T-Colour Design. The base and the upper end are made of black wood, the frame construction is to be coloured cream white. The profiled glass elements themselves are characterised by a grey-black ceramic screen print. The lectern is 1300 mm high, the individual glass elements 1100 mm.
Pilkington Profilit™ T-Colour Design is a U-shaped thermally toughened glass. The profiled glass is processed by Bauglasindustrie GmbH – part of the Pilkington Group – and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The product is available in a variety of colours and textures with different levels of light transmission.
