glass technology live: Experience the premiere of a new concept!

"glass technology live" in Hall 11 has been a driving force in the industry for many years. The special show will be repositioned at the 25th glasstec. With the focus on MIND OPENING ACTION, groundbreaking exhibits from the areas of "Interactive Façades/Display Glass", "Energy & Performance", "Structural Glass: Solid, Hollow & Thin" and "New Technologies" will be presented. 70 % of these are innovations, for example from research.

"glass technology live" was conceived for the first time in cooperation with a network of four technical universities: TU Darmstadt, TU Delft of TU Dresden and TU Dortmund. Each of the universities has been dealing with various aspects of glass as a material for years and will set highly relevant focal points for your industry at glass technology live.

For example, the TU Dortmund is devoting itself intensively to questions of resource-efficient construction. Here, the building envelope in particular holds enormous potential for glazing applications that are likely to improve the technical performance and resource management of a building. The Research Group Glass at the TU focuses on innovative glass solutions for buildings, bridges and other structures.
