glasstec | Questions and answers about your trade fair participation


The coronavirus and its effects present us all with major challenges that we have never experienced before on this scale. The postponement of glasstec to 15-18 June 2021, raises many specific questions which we would be pleased to answer:

Will there be a new registration phase?
There will not be a new registration phase as this is only a postponement of the show. Your previous registration remains valid.

Will the exhibition halls be replanned and the stands re-allocated?

The planning of the halls may be reviewed and optimised in accordance with new safety requirements. Therefore, the current stand information may not be confirmed. You will receive the new stand plans with your admission at the latest.

Is there already a new date for admission?
Yes, admission will be granted on 18 January 2021.

What happens if I cannot be present on the new date?
Since the exhibition has been postponed, your contract will remain in force. If you decide not to participate in the trade fair, a cancellation fee of €1,950 must therefore be paid in accordance with §7 of the Special Section of the Conditions of Participation by the date of admission.
If you waive the right to occupy your stand after admission, then point 5 of the General Section of the Conditions of Participation applies.

When will I receive my first invoice?
Stand rental and prepayment of services for glasstec will be invoiced in March 2021.

When will I receive my final invoice?
You will receive your final invoice six to eight weeks after the exhibition.

Does the postponement of glasstec have an impact on subsequent events?
No. The next event of the trade fair is scheduled for autumn 2022.

Under what conditions will the trade fair take place?

We are in close contact with the authorities and the situation will be reviewed daily. Should it be necessary to adjust the current planning by special measures that have to be taken for your and our safety, we will inform you immediately and in good time.

Use the potential for success of glasstec to meet your existing partners in person after a turbulent year, win new customers and generate new orders in 2021.
