The EFC (electronic timing system) directs the mechanisms movements as well as the forming air of the IS machine. The FMC is the electronic drive system that controls all the motors in the hot-end area. Behind all the operations in the production line there is the SPV, that concentrates and organizes all data storage and communication with all electronic controls in one single supervisory unit, becoming the operator’s interface for each operation.
When the flow of molten glass leaves the forehearth, the feeder shapes it into gobs. The electronic gob distributor takes the gobs and, together with the delivery system, delivers them to each section in accordance to an automatically calculated firing order.
Product category: Bottle and glass container machines
Section after section the IS machine receives the gobs in the blank moulds from the delivery system and shapes them into parisons. The parisons are then transferred to the blow side where they become bottles.
The IS machine can be configured in many different ways according to production requirement as well as users’ preference. Therefore pneumatic mechanisms can be flexibly mixed with servo mechanisms and proportional valves can be used to fine control the most delicate steps of the forming process.
The raw materials are fused in the furnace and go out through the working end as a viscous fluid called glass. The glass flowing along the forehearth is conditioned to obtain certain temperatures and physical characteristics so that IS machine can mould it.
Once the bottles have taken their final shape and the glass is stabilized, they are removed from the blow moulds and they are delivered to the conveyor. From here the servo pusher mechanism transfers them to the conveyor belt, which is synchronized by the FMC drive system with the transfer wheel and the cross conveyor. Finally, the stacker pushes the containers into the lehr.
The three sales organizations for, respectively, the Flat Glass, the Hollow Glass and the Engineering Divisions operate via a widespread network of sales agent, importers, after-sales service personel and spare parts centers in key locations around the world.
Bottero products are exported in more than 50 countries in Europe, North and South Africa, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, the Far East and Oceania.
