Company details

The ANKOR Samara Company (ANKOR) is a modern enterprise, which specializes in manufacturing of rolled aluminum products and is included into a group of aluminum processing companies. Originally ANKOR was a division of the Alfa-Lum Industrial Holding Company specializing in the production of aluminum pipes, coils, strips and alloys for the automotive industry.

The prior task initially set up by the Company's top management in 1999 was to supply high quality aluminum domestic products to the Russian national market.

In order to achieve this purpose, the Company purchased up-to-date equipment in Germany, concluded long term contracts with some leading Russian aluminum supplying companies and recruited a highly qualified staff, which was trained in Germany. ANKOR is now a leading Russian manufacture of aluminum spacer bars and flexible vent tubes. In 2006 the Company launched the production of aluminum profiles using a new up-to-date extrusion processing line. ANKOR now manufactures high quality profiles for false ceilings, plaster levelers and many other products.

In 1996 it was decided to establish a company that would be able to satisfy demands of the automotive industry for aluminum radiator pipes and aluminum foil. The Company's founders were some big industrial plants such as OJSC “AvtoVAZ” and OJSC “Volgaburmash.”

At that time the Company launched its first extrusion processing line used to manufacture the radiator pipe, which exceeded its prototypes on most of its characteristics. Therefore, most of vehicles rolled off from the Volga Automobile Plant (OJSC “AvtoVaZ”) are still equipped with radiators made on the basis of ANKOR products.

In 2006 the Company launched its second high-speed continuous extrusion processing line. The professional team set up by that time included designers, engineers, press operators, cast house operators and servicemen highly experienced in metallurgy. Since the production process has been constantly improved, regular research works are carried out by the plant laboratory, including researches carried out in close collaboration with specialists from the Casting Department of the Samara State Technical University and the Samara Aerospace University.

The proposed model of the modern production line, which introduces all stages of aluminum processing, continues to improve. The Company's key task is to increase plant capacities and develop a product line. The Company's upgrading and technical modernization policy, aimed at achieving the international quality and performance standards, guarantees good process accuracy and stability characteristics, and good reliability and durability of end products for our customers.

The Company's top management pays great attention to the output quality. In order to provide the continuous quality control, the Company established a Quality Control Office supplied with specialized up-to-date equipment. This contributed to introduction of ISO 9000 quality system at the plant in 2005 that now allows continuously improving business processes and increasing the performance efficiency.

ANKOR products are presented throughout the whole Russian Federation, CIS and other neighboring countries through its dealer networking such as TBM and VVN networks.

The Company supplies semi-finished products (such as foils and multi-channel tubes) for aluminum radiators manufactured at the “Dimitrovgrad Radiator Factory” LLC (Dimitrovgrad), JSC “Buguruslan Plant “The Radiator” (Buguruslan) and “VZLYOT” Plant (Lugansk).
