Since 1904, The Paul Wissmach Glass Company's customers have provided an endless source of inspiration, resulting in some of the industry's finest glasses.
Wissmach glass is incredibly well tempered. There are no internal stresses, so scoring and breaking are extremely easy. Colors can flow from one area to the next in transitions that are virtually seamless. For example, you can move from a grey background to dark blue and purple to blue-green, a wonderful ground cover.
Wissmach offers plenty of vivid colors for flowers, greens for all types of foliage, and subtle colors to join them together. The glass looks beautiful in reflected light, making it ideal for mosaic work. Wissmach colors are indistinguishable from the glass employed in early Tiffany Studios mosaics
Over the years, Wissmach has consistently developed new glasses to meet its customers' demands such as Corella Classic, English Muffle and Mystic.
For the fusing market, Wissmach Glass makes COE 90 and COE 96 products. Wissmach 90 and Wissmach 96 come in thicknesses of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm.
Initially introduced at Glasstec 2012 are 11 Wissmach colors that can be tempered in 18 different textures. Please contact Wismach Glass for aditional information or stop by the Wissmach stand while attending Glasstec to discuss this unique temperable art glass product.
Although new glasses are continually introduced into the company's line, many of the batches used by Wissmach in the early 1900's are still used today. The highest product quality and customer service are hallmarks of The Paul Wissmach Glass Company.
