The company FINIGLAS Veredelungs GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1990 after the takeover of a glass processing company with a glass-cutting shop and lead glass workshop, 6 employees and a production area of approximately 600 square meters.
In 1995, the company was expanded with further glass-bending furnaces for glass dimensions of up to 2 x 3 meters. FINIGLAS was already employing 35 people by 1995, expanding the production area to 2000 square meters with new systems such as automated facet grinding and laminated safety glass production for curved glass. In 1999, the production area grew to 3500 square meters and a tempered glass bending system was brought into operation. FINIGLAS was then employing 55 people. The second tempered glass bending section was set up in 2001.
FINIGLAS expanded further in 2004 by taking over a company in Dülmen with 10 employees and two glass bending systems. The Dülmen production site was created. Between 2004 and 2007, the following systems were brought online: seven glass bending systems for maximum dimensions of 6000mm x 3210 mm, CNC grinding systems, heat-soak systems, lamineted safety glass systems and waterjet cutters in the 3D sector.
Since 01.07.2007, FINIGLAS belongs to the Semcoglas Group and is now known as FINIGLAS Veredelungs GmbH. FINIGLAS is today one of the biggest glass bending companies in Europe. The expansion of the site means that everything has been changed to XXL in production. As of 2013, we are capable of producing toughened and heat-strengthened glass up to a maximum dimension of 2400 x 5000 mm and 3600 x 2400 mm.
