Hydrogen generator

HyGear offers small scale hydrogen generation systems that can generate hydrogen at the end user’s site. On-site hydrogen supply by the Hy.GEN® increases the reliability of supply and decrease the costs.

A reliable supply of process gases plays a vital role in most industries. Currently, these gases are mainly supplied by electrolysis or road transportation of compressed or liquefied gas. HyGear offers small scale on-site hydrogen generation systems ranging from 10 Nm3/h up to 1000 Nm3/h. This makes them highly suitable to be installed at industrial sites and hydrogen filling stations.

The Hy.GEN® systems produce hydrogen by converting natural gas with Steam Methane Reforming. Decentralised hydrogen production offers a safer, more reliable and cost-effective alternative to conventional hydrogen supply by tube trailers or electrolysers and significantly lowers the environmental impact.

Hydrogen plant

HyGear also offers larger hydrogen supply ranging from 1,000 Nm3/h to 30,000 Nm3/h by means of on-site generation systems. The plants are designed in coorporation with our partner, Pan American Hydrogen Inc. (PHI) in America, where Koch-Glitsch technology and Foster Wheeler’s terrace wall reformers are used.

The Hy.PLANT systems produce hydrogen by converting different feedstocks like natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), methanol, butane and propane by Steam Reforming. Decentralised hydrogen production offers a safer, more reliable and cost-effective alternative to conventional hydrogen supply by tube trailers or electrolysers and a significantly lower environmental
impact.

Nitrogen generator

Nitrogen can be generated on-site with HyGear’s N.GEN®. On-site nitrogen production by HyGear increases the reliability of supply and offers more flexibility to the customer. The N.GEN® gives a significant cost reduction in comparison to nitrogen supply by cylinders.

The highly efficient on-site nitrogen generator is based on HyGear’s extensive experience in PSA gas separation technology and gas processing systems. The N.GEN® product line has a range from 10 Nm3/h up to 1000 Nm3/h. Due to its high quality components, the N.GEN® requires minimum maintenance while having extended operation lifetime. The systems are flexible in capacity and can be integrated with HyGear’s on-site hydrogen and oxygen generation systems to offer total on-site gas supply.

Oxygen generator

For industries with small to medium oxygen consumption, on-site oxygen generation with HyGear’s O.GEN® is the most efficient supply option. The O.GEN® is safe and easy to operate, and gives a significant cost reduction in comparison to oxygen supply by cylinders.

The O.GEN® is based on HyGear’s extensive experience in PSA gas separation technology and gas processing systems. The product ranges from 10 Nm3/h up to 1000 Nm3/h with purities up to 95%. The O.GEN® offers great flexibility to the customer by overcoming the dependency on third parties. Due to the integration of the remote operation module, autonomous and safe operation is guaranteed.
