CNC Cutting Machine

The CNC shape cutting machines stand for quality, maximum performance,
reliability and user-friendliness.

CNC controlled axes including two Y axes as a wellproved
gantry system together with drive concepts and guiding units
specially adjusted to each other allow highest values of
dynamics and accuracy on one side as well as most simple
handling and maintenance on the other side. As an option,
also available with the new linear direct drives which are
exceeding by far the traditional concepts.
By the efficient module construction and new production

CNC-calotte cutting machine

CNC cutting of flat and bent glass (spherical and aspherical) down to a radius of 215 mm as for example used in the vehicle rear view, traffic and cosmetic mirrors.
Compact, high performance, flexible, reliable, user-friendly.

The CNC controlled calotte cutting machines RS 7.47 and RS 7.49 are the ideal connection to the proven
and well known extremely powerful servo drives and the most precise cutting system of RS technology.
7 CNC axes (1 pair in Gantry) allow highest values when it comes to dynamics and accuracy in order to
obtain most difficult shapes, e.g. rear view mirrors, cycling times less than 3 sec. per mirror
(without handling).
For you as a customer, this is a guarantee for the extraordinary performance of up to 800 pcs/h.
The moving of the cutting table is done by the rod cinematic system
which allows an interpolating movement to the cutting process in
combination with the new developed transformation. That means the
table is moving while cutting. Thus a perfect alignment of the cutting
tool to the bent calotte (even at aspheric calottes) is guaranteed.
This results in an open cut at every position of the shape.
The CNC calotte machines have been set for quality, reliability,
shortest downtimes, user friendliness, short cycling times of the end
product, minimum handling and especially for the dynamics and
tolerances as well as the process accuracy well known and proven
with RS technology.
