MM-30

The Moderne Mecanique MM-30 ampoule machine has 30 work stations. The frame and carousel are made of grey cast iron and all the moving and rotating parts are made of special wear-resistant materials.

All the rotating parts run on ball bearings.

The MM-30 has been built in such a way as to ensure rapid heat dispersal:
the carousel has been designed so that the bearings and shafts are not located in the heating area, thus guaranteeing the constant alignment of the upper and lower chucks.

The rotation of the carousel and of the spindles is controlled by separate Electric Motors, thus allowing the best speed possible setting for each production run.

The rails can be set, either individually or all together, according to the size and shape of the ampoules.

The MM-30 is fitted with the best quality burners, with height adjustment function and individual control valves for the air, oxygen and gas mixture.

FA-36S

Continuous-action rotary machine with 36 vertical spindles for ampoules forming from glass tube able to produce automatically the first bottom of every new glass tube in order to increase the production efficiency.

Base
Houses the spindle rotation motors, machine body, central lubrication pump and oil tank. The spindle cams and transmission systems are mounted on the base.

Rotor
Fitted on a central shaft with preloaded cone bearings; planetary-type movement by means of two gears driven by separate motors, allowing independent rotation speeds of rotor and spindles. The spindle-holder sections are installed on the rotor.

Spindle-holder sections
Made of cast iron, with each section housing two spindles with associated gears and roller bearings; each of the lower sections houses two spindles that move vertically on re-circulating ball guides with oil-bath lubrication.

Burners
Fitted on four independent sections with individual height adjustment. Each burner has radial polar and height adjustment functions and is fed from a gas, air and oxygen mixer. The burners are moved by the upper grippers and have return springs with vibration dampers.

The machine is equipped with:

The special section with 7 burners for forming the tube bottom
Extraction hood for combustion fumes
Main electrical panel with PLC and controls

The PLC manages the machine functions, these being:

Temporary stopping of production cycle
Unloading last piece of tube
Automatic loading of tubes (see Accessories)
Variable speed electric motors and inverters

LA-502, LA-501R

The line framework, on which the drive mechanism is mounted, consists of a series of aluminium H13m frames linked by steel beams. The ampoules, carried on chain conveyors with V-shaped holder plates, are conveyed to the various processing stations. The line has a safety system which diverts the ampoules to a second channel to prevent build-ups on the conveyor belt.
