At the University of Sydney we’ve been challenging students and the community for more than a century.

More recently a stream of research has focused on an energy efficient thermally insulating window technology; the Vacuum Insulated Glass (VIG). The VieW technology hub mission is to provide the fundamental science and engineering to produce education, innovation, and the confidence in application, progressing the VIG window. Ultimately, producing an practically effective and financially economic, window system for energy efficient and sustainable buildings, will dramatically reduce our negative impact on climate change.
