VersiCoat system for functional glass coatings

The VersiCoat System is a versatile, low maintenance coating system for pilot or moderate volume production coatings onto glass panels up to 610mm wide.  The system is available with a stationary or reciprocating spray platform.  Uniform dispersion of particles results in larger active surface area, creating greater electrical performance with thinner layers. This system provides high uniformity across large areas at a fraction of the cost of CVD and other conventional processes and the highly controllable spray enables selective area coating processes not possible with other coating methods.

Ultrasonic spray has significant advantages over other coating methods for functional glass coatings such as Transparent Conductive Oxide coatings. Ultrasonic nozzles are uniquely suited to spraying suspensions with electrically active particles, dispersing them in suspension uniformly to produce excellent electrical properties.

Sono-Tek coating systems are used to spray a wide range of functional coatings onto different sizes and types of glass, plastics, and metals, for many different applications:

Industrial Wide Track Impact Array

A high volume production coating system for wide area coatings such as glass and textiles manufacturing. Up to 28 Impact air shaping systems are mounted on a single bridge assembly, with the ability to customize widths. The system features: uniform, repeatable thin film coatings across wide widths and proven performance for 24/7 high volume production operations. 

The IMPACT ARRAY system is designed to deposit uniform Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO) layer chemistries such as ITO, ZnO, SnO, FTO, and CdO  in spray pyrolysis applications. This system provides a cost effective alternative to costly sputtering or CVD deposition processes.

Ultrasonic lens coating systems are ideal for applying functional and aesthetic lens coatings onto eyeglass or other lenses.
